food preparation, including nutrition and sanitation. This is reinforced through
hands-on laboratory sessions with experienced culinary chef instructors.
Graduates of this Florida Culinary Arts School receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts
along with a coveted Le Cordon Bleu Culinary diploma. The 15-month program
includes 12 months on campus instruction followed by a 3 month externship where
students apply their culinary skills in the "real" world. Besides
learning thorough culinary cooking skills, students also learn about restaurant
operations, becoming involved in both front and back of the house
operations. Students learn about restaurant operations from a corporate level,
then breaking down the components. Students are taught leadership skills and management
theory to equip them for jobs in restaurants, hotels, schools, bakeries,
